Must I have conflict with others so that they believe?   2017-08-17

… Must I have conflict with others so that they believe? ...

Act 19:9 But when some were hardened and did not believe, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and separated the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

It's very funny, people with their own opinions, always wants to force down their opinions on others, as if others could not have an opinion of their own. Have you ever noticed such people?

The other day I had a normal difference of opinion with someone. The person who did not agree with me then later talked so loud that other people, who were about 20 meters away from us, could hear that person's opinion clearly. As if I was totally wrong!

I just said, as long as I'm here, it will not happen! I walked away and to those other people who wanted to learn and hear. That person then called others and told them how unfair I was! Can you believe it!

Jesus shows us here, not to fight with people and become involved in a words battle about Him and life with Him. Go to those who want to hear and want to learn and teach them!

In Revelations there are in a few places where it is written "let those who have ears, listen to what the Spirit of the Lord says". Now that's the point, not everyone will believe, not everyone will choose, not everyone will agree! Not everyone will seek Him.

Not everyone have ears! Did our parents also not ask us "where is your ears"! His Way is not for everyone! Therefore the Lord says, "but those who receive Him were given to eat of the tree of life!
